*Our show will have a Deaf actor playing the role of Quasimodo, which is creative choice that not only honors the novel but lets us hearing performers gain new skills learning more about deaf culture and language.
*Our show will be the first musical to perform at the brand new beautiful Rancho Cotati TAG theater
*This show MTME is trying a new collaboration between the teen and adult casts. The 5 lead roles will be cast with local professionals allowing the teens the experience to work alongside pros on stage. But there are still plenty of featured ensemble roles and solos.
*As a personal skill builder each teen will be preparing one of 3 solos from the show and performing them 2/8 in class
Come share what you have been working on in a safe and inviting environment.
At the adult share recitals there is no audience except for your musical peers. Guided by a MTME teacher, come share all of or a part of whatever you have been working on.
All instruments welcomed! Recordings or live playings of compositions welcomed!
There will be time for discussion and feedback if desired.
An accompanist will be on site for singers or instrumentalists that need one! Please bring clean sheet music in the correct key, taped or in a binder.
