This workshop offers a gentle and grounding yoga practice to help soothe and regulate your nervous system. Integrating Polyvagal Theory and yoga, our time together will include gentle movement, breath, and guided meditation. No prior yoga experience is needed. Heather cares deeply for the health, wellness, and healing of the Evergreen community. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Yoga Therapist, Heather works with individuals, couples, and families in her private practice, Light Quest Counseling. Through offering a variety of modalities, Heather provides a peaceful environment for healing to occur. Heather believes that breath, movement, time in nature, and connection with oneself and each other are wonderful ways to uncover the balance and inner peace that exists within each of us.In 2008, Heather graduated from Naropa University with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, emphasis in Wilderness Therapy. She became a Yoga teacher in 2005 and a Yoga Therapist through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy in 2009.
