About the Program
This 3-week Player Development Program is designed to help U8 and U10 players become more comfortable and confident turning with the ball in tight spaces. The focus is on learning simple, effective turning techniques and using them at an age-appropriate speed of play to escape pressure, change direction, and keep possession.
Each session combines lots of touches, guided technical repetition, and fun game-based activities to help players learn when and how to turn during game play.
Over the 3 weeks, players will focus on:

Turning away from pressure using the inside and outside of the foot

Stop-and-turn and drag back turns to protect the ball

Using both feet to change direction

Keeping the ball close while turning

Recognizing space and making the next action after the turn

Applying turning skills in small-sided games

By the end of the program, players will feel more confident on the ball, better able to change direction under pressure, and more comfortable using turns during games to keep possession and find space.

This advanced 3-week Player Development Program is designed to help players receive, turn, and manipulate the ball at speed of play in tight, game-realistic environments. The focus is not just on learning turning techniques, but on selecting and executing the correct turning option at match tempo to escape pressure, create space, and play forward.
Each session balances high-repetition technical work with game-like scenarios, challenging players to scan early, receive under pressure, and turn with intent so skills translate directly into match performance.
Over the 3 weeks, players will focus on:

Disguised turning techniques such as Cruyff turns and body feints

Inside and outside cut turns to eliminate defenders with minimal touches

Preseason Performance Program
On & Off the Ball Development
This three-week preseason program is designed to prepare players for the demands of the upcoming season by developing performance with the ball and without it. Sessions blend physical training with soccer-specific movement and ball work to help players enter the season stronger, sharper, and more confident.
