Attendance
Students must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates and times. Every actor, whether a lead role or ensemble, is used in the majority of the production.
Due to the team building and collaborative effort our program focuses on, our schedule does not support conflicts with other activities. Theatre is a team sport and the magic of what we do can only come from being there in person and supporting their fellow cast members.
Materials
A snack and water bottle
During the performance week, all students will need to wear a solid black t-shirt, solid black shoes, solid black pants (or solid black leggings), and black socks. This goal is for no ankles showing, and students to have a base layer of clothes that we can use under their NBT provided costumes. If you need support or these items provided, please email studio@northbaytheatrics.org and we will provide them for you.
Student Behavior and Attitude
Brook Haven Middle School rules and the NBT Code of Conduct apply during all rehearsals and performances. Together, we strive to create a positive, welcoming environment where students of different ages and backgrounds can collaborate and thrive.
The Little Mermaid — Cotati Main Stage (Ages 7–13)
This season, our students will dive under the sea and work together to create a magical production of The Little Mermaid! With more than 50 hours of instruction, this class is ideal for both beginners and experienced young performers. Students will build skills in acting, singing, and staging while preparing for a full-scale musical that culminates in four performances for friends and family — complete with stage lights, microphones, costumes, and excitement for all.
Every student is a valued part of the
cast.
Every single student
receives a named character. No “background fish number three”
here.
Each student gets their
own individual bow moment to be celebrated
onstage.
Roles are never limited
by a student’s size or gender identity.
All registered students are
part of the show.
Auditions are only required for those who wish to be considered for
roles with a large number of speaking lines or solos. We make the
process fun and welcoming, and we always focus on placing students
where they can shine.
At North Bay Theatrics, we put person above performance.
We know and value every single student, no matter what role they play. We focus on building friendships, encouraging leadership, and celebrating creativity. Our philosophy is be who you want to be. We want our students to feel confident, accepted, and proud of who they are.

Learn songs, scenes, and choreography from the show
-
Build confidence through theatre games and ensemble work
-
Participate in fun, creative crafts inspired by the world of Wonka

Develop teamwork, stage presence, and storytelling skills
-
Enjoy plenty of summer fun in a supportive, encouraging environment
Our focus is on growth, creativity, and confidence—whether this is your student’s very first time on stage or they already love performing, everyone has a place and a moment to shine.
The camp will conclude with performances for families, celebrating all the hard work, imagination, and collaboration from the two-week journey.
A sweet summer adventure filled with theatre magic, confidence-building, and a little bit of Wonka-style wonder!
