30hr Restorative Yoga Teacher Training
Jun 7, 2024 - Sep 14, 2024
Restorative
yoga is the antidote to the chronic stress and anxiety of our
modern life which leads to chronic health issues. True relaxation
cannot be initiated by the mind. Placing the body in restful,
restorative yoga poses, fully supported by
blankets,
cushions and pillows, teaches the student how to send messages from
the body up to the brain by saying “you don’t need to be in
survival mode any longer” and “it is safe to relax”. Once in this
mode, the mind can send messages down to the body to further
nourish itself in this healing mode.
This Yoga
Alliance approved certification training is designed for 200 and
300hr Registered Yoga Teachers and dedicated Yoga Students. Yoga
teachers will learn how to compassionately integrate restorative
poses at the end of their regular
yoga
classes and be prepared to offer Restorative Yoga classes. This
immersion into the world of restorative poses is also for dedicated
Yoga Students to learn how to supportively practice these poses at
the end of a yoga class and how to
develop a
home practice. Now, more than ever in this lifetime, Yoga Teachers
and students alike need these stress busting skills to eliminate
the havoc placed on the body, mind and nervous system.
What
you will learn:
- Expert
instruction in restorative yoga poses
- How
relaxation affects the nervous system
