Over 50? Don’t want to train with 20 year olds but still
want to get fit and learn a new sport? Look no further than QRules
50+ Boxing Program. This 60-minute class will take you from
beginner to badass, starting with dynamic stretching before jumping
into fitness, pad work and the heavy bag. Finish up with an
extended cool down/stretch session.
In addition to the weekly in-person class, there will be a
30-minute online body weight class to complete anytime that works
for you, whether at home or in the gym during open gym times.
Expect an intense workout but with less impact on the
body.
Glove rental and hand wraps included with registration.
The program runs twice a week for 12 sessions total.
No experience necessary and all fitness levels welcome.
BABYBOX is designed for new parents who are ready to get back to a regular fitness routine in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Expect a low-impact, full body workout that incorporates strength training, core stability, and light cardio boxing to work out some of that ‘new parent’ tension.
And bring that little featherweight too! Our studio is baby-friendly (but bring their favourite toy and blanket to keep them comfortable). Nurse when you need to, pick them up if they’re fussy, and meet other new parents – once you get the thumbs up from your doctor, of course.
Learn to Box! Have you ever wanted to learn the basics of boxing in a fun and welcoming environment? This four-weeks course will teach you all the basics of boxing from your stance and movement to basic punches and defense.
Join Coach Mike every Monday and Wednesday for beginner friendly boxing classes. All are welcome! Participants must be at least 16 years old.
You can expect bootcamp style classes with skipping, shadowboxing, technical boxing rounds on hand pads and the heavy bag. Learn a new skill and get a great workout at the same time!
