The diaphragm, nervous system and cervical spine work as an integrated stream. When breathing patterns are inefficient the body compensates wtih increased muscle tension, autonomic disregulation and changing movement strategies. This can lead to not feeling very well.
In this workshop we will learn about the fluidity of the nervous system, Dr. Stephen Porges Polyvagal theory and C02 tolerance. Why posture matters. We will learn about how we unconsciously leverage our nervous system to meet the demands of our current situations, and how to CONSCIOUSLY leverage it through breath.
