Wax and Wicks is an intentional candle making workshop meant to bring the art of candle making and mindfulness practices together. In this workshop you’ll be learning how to make all natural soy wax candles using organic materials and fragrances while leading with intention.
We’ll start in a welcoming circle with an ice breaker to connect and set our intentions. You’ll pick your candle container and the step by step guided process will begin. After the final pour has been made and our candles have been decorated. We’ll end with a short sound bath while our candles cure.
Learn how to get comfortable in restorative yoga postures beyond what is normally offered in a 60-minute class. Spend time exploring different ways to support the body in various postures, with plenty of time to relax into them and fully receive the benefits of slowing down.
