In this 3 hour workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of
sound healing and its many applications for maintaining a healthy
mindset, balanced, activated and open physical and energy body. We
will cover the history, science, theories, and roles of
drums/shakers, flutes, handpans, gongs, harmonium, shruti box,
singing bowls, and voice. After learning the elements of how sound
healing works, participants will receive a deeply relaxing theta
state inducing sound bath. All experience levels, belief systems
and body types are welcome.
Kevin Kraft is a multidisciplinary wellness practitioner, musician, and author dedicated to fostering holistic well-being through sound and mindfulness. He is the sounder and founder of Soundshala (www.soundshala.com), an integrative wellness platform offering a unique curriculum that blends Kriya Yoga, music, meditation, journaling, breathwork, and sound therapy to promote mental clarity, emotional resilience, and inner balance.

Foundations of Sound & Frequency – Explore the science and philosophy of sound, the energetic and physical effects of vibration, and how sound interacts with body, mind, and energy systems.

Instrument Mastery & Hands-On Practice – Learn to play and work with a variety of instruments such as gongs, crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, drums, chimes/bells/tingsha, flutes, tuning forks, kalimba, and your voice.

Personal Style & Session Flow – Develop your own style of sound healing, practice layering instruments, sequencing sound journeys, and holding space to lead sound baths and group experiences.

Mindfulness, Breath & Silence – Deepen your listening, learn breathwork and grounding practices, and explore the healing power of silence as part of sound medicine.

Practical Skills to Facilitate Safely – Understand safety, presence, energetic awareness, and how to structure experiences for individuals and groups.
Who Is This For?
This training is open to everyone—whether you’re a beginner, a yoga/meditation practitioner, holistic practitioner, arts mentor, musician, or a wellness professional. No prior musical experience is required. Soundshala supplies instruments for training, though you’re welcome to bring your own if you have them.
