Discover the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga and one of the world's oldest systems of holistic healing. Rooted in the Vedas of India, Ayurveda teaches us to live in harmony with nature's rhythms and to find balance within body, mind, and spirit.
In this informative and engaging workshop, you'll explore Ayurveda's core principles and learn how to identify your unique body type (dosha). Understanding your individual constitution is the first step toward cultivating balance across all levels of being- physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Handouts will be provided; please bring a notebook, pen, snack, and water.
Monica's journey with Ayurveda began more than ten years ago, when she was diagnosed with a thyroid condition and began searching for a more holistic way to heal. What started as a curiosity quickly became a way of life. With the guidance and mentorship of her Ayurvedic physician, Monica learned how to listen to her body, honor its rhythms, and bring herself back into balance when life felt out of sync.
Ayurveda has completely transformed how she lives, thinks, and cares for herself and her loved ones. Today, Monica shares these teachings with others- helping them find their own sense of balance, vitality, and connection through this timeless wisdom.

Are you struggling with perfectionism? Do you feel that you need to slow down? Would you like to tap into the right brain or that creative side of you, but don’t know where to start? This mindful watercolor meditation is for you. Anyone age 16 and up are invited to participate in this workshop.
In this workshop, we will start with a few gentle movements (without a mat), practice a breathing exercise and a Sankalpa (intention) and yoga sutra 1.33 (non-judgement) to embark our journey.
Then you will learn basic techniques in watercolor and utilize the techniques to create something unique and one of a kind. Through the process, we practice and reinforce non-judgement and non-goal chasing, embrace the uncertainty and detach from the result. You will learn that we all have that creative side of us and everyone can be an artist.
This workshop is on a Saturday. We will spend 2 hours together and have some fun with watercolor.
