
Mindful Kids LA Summer Camp at
Soul Play Yoga is a spin off of the popular “Mindful Kids”
afterschool enrichment programs in Los Angeles.
The camp combines Mindfulness
lessons, games, yoga, arts & crafts, outdoor play, field trips
and interactive group activities into a week of fun and
adventure!
Let your kids experience a
different kind of summer camp! Do they love field games, slime,
scavenger hunts, art, crafts and being spontaneous? So do we!
Mindful Kids LA Summer Camp, exposes kids ages 4-12 to the lifelong
benefits of mindfulness, meditation and conscious movement in a
week-long summer camp format.
Mindfulness lessons help kids with emotional regulation, focus,
concentration, compassion, empathy, self awareness and impulse
control. In addition to Mindfulness lessons infused throughout the
day, kids will also benefit from engaging activities, take home
crafts, games, professional art/ dance/ cooking lessons, movies,
outdoor excursions and more!
SAMPLE SCHEDULE (CAMP HOURS: 9:00 am - 3:00
pm)
- Group Games
- Mindful Breath-Inspirational Art
- Snack
- Park/Outdoor Time (Includes Playground time, Nature Scavenger Hunts/ Giant Bubble Making/Water Balloons etc)
- Yoga Class
- Lunch
- Crafts Projects
- Some days will include a field trip: Movies, Ecostation, Ice Cream outing or Snow Cones etc. or special themes such as a professional artists/dancer, chefs come in to do lessons.
- Kids should bring: lunch, snack and water bottle

This is the week option that inlcudes the daily aftercare 3pm-5pm.

Balance your body, mind & spirit in this 2 hr workshop using Chinese Medicine & Yoga to help us bloom into Summer!
We begin with a heart opening Qi Gong practice, flow into a deeply relaxing Yin Yoga practice and end in a 30 min Savasana with ear acupuncture and essential oils.
If you have never done ear accupuncture, there are 2 points on the ear that bring about deep calm and grounding, you will leave feeling blissed out and renewed for the Summer season.
