Releasing Trauma Through Sound and Color

Join award-winning Australian musicians and sound healers Peter D. Harper and Bobbi Llewellyn-Harper (14 international music awards across 4 countries) for a transformative workshop exploring how sound and color can release trauma and restore harmony to the mind, body, and soul.
Through the use of didgeridoo sound vibration, color therapy, breathwork, and mantra, Peter and Bobbi guide participants in reconnecting with their bodies and reclaiming personal empowerment. The didgeridoo—an ancient Australian Indigenous wind instrument—has been used for thousands of years in healing ceremonies. Peter plays this sacred instrument with the permission and blessing of Indigenous elders, using its deep, droning tones to release physical and emotional blockages.
In addition to the didgeridoo, Peter and Bobbi incorporate mesmerizing male and female vocal intonations and harmonies using power vowels and words that bring participants into a deep meditative state. The Didgeridoo Singing Ceremony has long helped Indigenous Australians “sing manifestation into existence,” using sound to navigate the land and align with its frequency. Everything is vibration—when we tune into the frequency of the land, we can manifest what we need. These frequencies alter our brainwaves through brainwave entrainment, guiding the body into a state of profound relaxation and balance.
A Sound Bath Experience follows, featuring the didgeridoo, harmonized vocals, crystal singing bowls, flutes, drums, harmonica, and more—creating an immersive soundscape that clears, uplifts, and restores.
Experience ancient wisdom, modern sound healing, and the power to tune into your truth—and become your sound.

Location: Soulside Healing Arts Studio
Join Soulside Healing Arts and Laughing Tao Acupuncture for a collaborative yoga and acupuncture session designed to be deeply grounding and nourishing for all ages and abilities. In this gentle, restorative yoga practice, guided by April, you will invite the body into stillness and the nervous system into balance. At the beginning of the session, Glenn and Genevieve, acupuncturists at Laughing Tao Acupuncture, will place five small press tacks (tiny, taped acupuncture needles) for each participant to enhance relaxation and deepen the therapeutic effects of the yoga session. These points help regulate the stress response, calm the mind, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes while you rest.
Community acupuncture allows you to receive the benefits of treatment while surrounded by neighbors and friends in a shared healing environment. You will be asked to complete a brief consent form prior to treatment, and we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. Acupuncture press tacks will be placed on wrists, ankles, lower legs, or between the eyebrows. If you are highly allergic to adhesives (like band-aids), you will not be able to receive acupuncture. We look forward to creating a peaceful space where acupuncture and movement come together to support your whole health, body, and mind.
You will be asked to sign an informed consent before receiving acupuncture at this event. Acupuncture is optional.
