Yoga Bootcamp Series with Pam

But Yoga also happens to be an awesome form of physical fitness. It's an incredible way to build strength and tone up. Join Pam, a self proclaimed gym rat and experienced Yoga instructor in this 5 week Yoga Bootcamp series to get back into your Yoga and fitness routines and ready for the Holidays. This class meets 2 mornings a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 am. Class is one hour and promises to be an awesome work out. Explore poses and drills to build core awareness, tone arms and legs and build up a good sweat. A good strong flow rivals tried and true forms of cardio in overall calories burned. Start your day and your Fall off feeling stronger and leaner.

Yintensive Module I

Yin is a practice that combines the physical postures with meditation techniques. Deeply influnced by the Chinese Traditional Medicine model it is a highly therapeudic style that works with subtilty on the denser tissues in the body. It's so much more than just the same old yoga poses just held for longer.

In a culture that promotes busyness and multi tasking, Yin provides a much needed balance. Equally productive for athletes, the elderly and the super stressed, Yin is more in demand.

This training is for Yinthusiasts who don't intend to teach but will also prepare yoga teachers to incorporate Yin principles into all teaching formats, and to teach Yin as a standalone style. The training is taught by Mandy Ryle a Yoga Alliance YAECP approved instructor and will count toward 15 continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance Registered Teachers. Curriculum will include:

- Yin posture repertiore

- The Science of Yin

- Yin Energetic Theory

 

This is a 15 Hour Yin Teacher Training that will meet

Friday 10/4 at 5:30 - 9 pm

Saturday 10/5 10:30 am- 4:30 pm

Building on Module I we will explore Yin sequencing and theming, observation, propping and assisting for Yin Yoga classes. The training is taught by Mandy Ryle a Yoga Alliance YAECP approved instructor and will count toward 15 continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance Registered Teachers. Curriculum will include:

- Yin sequencing

- Theming

- Assisting

 

This is a 15 Hour Yin Teacher Training. There are two options for Module II

Module II Weekend Option: October 11-13
Friday 5:30 pm - 9 pm
Saturday 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
