A 3-Hour CEU Workshop with Jami Marsoun | 3 Yoga Alliance CEUs
You became a teacher because you wanted to make yoga accessible. But somewhere between your training and your hundredth class, it's easy to fall back on the same cues, the same sequences, the same assumptions about what every body in the room can do.
This workshop is an invitation to look at your teaching with fresh eyes.
Jami has been teaching yoga for almost 20 years and has trained dozens of teachers. She's seen what works, what doesn't, and where even experienced teachers get stuck... especially when it comes to language and sequencing that truly serves every student in the room.
In this hands-on, practice-rich workshop you'll explore:
- Progressive sequencing - how to build classes that meet students where they are and offer pathways forward, rather than a single “right” way to do a pose
- Invitational cueing - shifting the language you use so students feel empowered to make choices, instead of feeling corrected
- Getting beyond the overused - we'll identify common jargon teachers use out of habit and find more effective alternatives in the present and or own authenticity
This isn't just a lecture. You'll practice, experiment, and leave with tools you can bring into your very next class.
Whether you've been teaching for one year or twenty, there's something here for you.
Open to all yoga teachers, all experience levels welcome.
Sunday, June 7th | 9:00 - 11:00 am | Suson Park |
Some mornings are made for slowing down.
This is one of them.
South River Yoga and Bloom Mind + Body Co. are coming together for a summer morning in the park -- two South County wellness communities, one shared invitation: step outside, breathe deep, and let yourself bloom.
We'll move through an all-levels yoga practice led by Annie from South River Yoga surrounded by open sky and the sounds of summer. We'll sit in stillness together with a guided meditation led by Katelyn from Bloom. We'll journal, walk quietly if you’d like, and give ourselves permission to just be. This is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and feel supported as two wonderful wellness communities come together.
June asks us: what does it look like when I finally let myself grow? What does joy actually feel like in my body when I stop running long enough to notice it?
This morning is your answer.
What to expect: Guided yoga flow (all levels welcome) + meditation + reflective journaling prompts + optional quiet walk through the park
What to bring: Your yoga mat,, a journal and pen, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes you can move and sit in, possibly a blanket to put underneath your yoga mat.
Who this is for: Any woman who needs a morning that belongs entirely to her.
No experience requiredFriday, June 26th, 2026 at 6:00pm-8:00pm
Before we can fully bloom, we must first return to our roots. This immersive 2-hour workshop is designed to help you shed the scattered energy of a busy life, reconnect with your steady center, and create the inner spaciousness where your fullest expression can finally emerge.
Through gentle and restorative yoga and soothing live sound, you will be guided into a state of profound relaxation where healing opens the door to growth. Join Betty Green and Cindy Kostecki for this magical evening of restorative yoga and live music and sound!
Begin with intention setting, grounding breathwork, and gentle movement to anchor your energy. Then relax into long-held, fully supported postures using bolsters, blankets, and blocks, designed to retrain your nervous system to consciously let go. While held in these poses, you will be enveloped by the soothing overtones of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes, along with ambient acoustic guitar and harmonium to set the mood.
By releasing energetic stagnation and physical tension, you make room for something new to rise. This is what blooming feels like from the inside.
*No yoga experience needed.*
Space is limited.
Friday, July 31st, 2026 | 6:00pm-8:00pm
July 31 sits right at the threshold of two of our themes this year. We've spend July exploring what it means to Thrive, to live from our fullest expression. And August invites us to Flow, to surrender to the current and move with ease. Restorative yoga lives in exactly that space. It's not the absence of vitality. It's what makes vitality last.
And there's no better way to cross that threshold than this.
Indulge in a sensory sanctuary designed to melt away the demands of the day and carry you into a state of deep renewal. This restorative session is a courageous choice to choose stillness over hurry, an invitation to hit pause and give your nervous system the reset it deserves. Through soft candlelight, soothing ambient music, and the subtle scent of calming essential oils, you'll transition from the busyness of the outside world into a state of meditative calm.
The practice follows a slow, intentional sequence where simplicity is key. You'll settle into a series of luxurious postures, like supported heart openers and reclined bound angle, held for extended periods to allow for total muscular release and mental clarity. With bolsters, blankets, and full prop support, your body can finally release any lingering tightness, gripping, or holding.
This deep recovery signals to your body that it is safe to fully rest, effectively lowering cortisol levels and improving overall sleep quality. It creates a dedicated space for reflection, a quiet dialogue with your inner self and an acknowledgment of the moments of gratitude that so often get overlooked in the daily grind.
Perfect for all levels. No experience necessary. Come exactly as you are and leave feeling warm, light, and spacious.

Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2 | 12:30pm - 5:30pm
A 10-Hour CEU Workshop with Cindy Kostecki | 10 Yoga Alliance CEUs
If restorative yoga is part of your teaching, this weekend will change how you offer it.
Cindy Kostecki has spent a decade teaching and deepening her study of restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation, including direct training under Judith Hanson Lasater, the woman who brought this practice to the West and wrote the book on it, literally. Learning restorative yoga with someone who has trained in that lineage is a different experience. The attention to detail, the understanding of why each choice matters, the quality of presence required to hold space for real rest. That's what this weekend is about.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll explore the art and science of restorative yoga, learning how to skillfully use props, breath, and subtle awareness to activate the body’s natural relaxation response. Through guided practice, thoughtful discussion, and hands-on teaching experience, you’ll develop the confidence to create profoundly nurturing experiences for yourself and others.
Over 10 hours together, you'll cover:
- The philosophy and foundational principles of restorative yoga, rooted in Lasater's teachings
- Nervous system regulation and the physiology of rest
- Prop use, pose setup, and intelligent sequencing for diverse bodies and needs
- The role of breath, language, and presence in guiding students into deep relaxation
- Adapting practices for different populations, class formats, and environments
- Hands-on teaching practice with real-time feedback
You'll practice, you'll teach, and you'll leave with the kind of clarity that makes you want to get back in the room with your students.
Open to all yoga teachers, all experience levels welcome. Registrants receive a $10 discount on the Friday evening restorative workshop. Details included in your registration confirmation.
