Our cozy, candlelit space is the backdrop for this restorative experience. A combination of restorative yoga guided by Val, and Thai Yoga Bodywork offered by Jamie.
Focus: Lower Back, Core, and Pelvis: The foundation of mobility, stability, and strength

Your spine is more than bones and discs; it’s the main pathway of subtle currents of energy. When the spine is compromised, the vitality of the body weakens. Your spine shapes how you move, feel, and connect. Spinal longevity is more than relieving pain, it's about sustaining freedom of movement and energy for the long run.
This is a 2-part therapeutic somatic yoga series dedicated to exploring, understanding, and attuning to the vital highway of the body: the spine.
You will learn therapeutic yoga practices, somatic movement for neuromuscular re-education, and myofascial release to help maintain natural curvature and support the muscles, nerves, discs, ligaments, and pranic pathways along the spine.
November 2nd: 12:00 - 2:00pm -
- Focus: Lower Back, Core, and Pelvis: The foundation of mobility, stability, and strength
- Focus: Upper Back, Neck, and Occiput: The bridge to clarity and expansion
This session is designed to support women who feel pulled in many directions and find it hard to slow down. So often, we are asked to stay in our heads, always doing, striving, and saying “yes” without pausing to listen to the wisdom within our bodies. This gathering offers space to step off autopilot and become more attuned to what you truly feel and want, so your choices reflect your deepest needs rather than outside demands.
Through meditation and guided practices, you’ll learn to listen to the subtle signals of your body - especially as they shift throughout the phases of your menstrual cycle. Instead of powering through, you’ll explore how to honor your body’s rhythms, release what no longer serves you, and discover new ways of being present with yourself.
Fall, a season of turning inward and letting go, offers a natural backdrop for this work. Together, we’ll focus on breath, embodied presence, self-expression, and cycle awareness. You’ll leave with supportive practices to nourish yourself - both in daily life and throughout each phase of your cycle.
A monthly in-person class at Spirit of the Lake Yoga
When life feels noisy, busy, or overwhelming, the breath is a powerful way to return home to yourself. In this class, we’ll use simple yet profound breathwork practices to clear mental clutter, release tension, and reconnect with presence. Each session is designed to help you quiet your mind, feel grounded in your body, and leave with tools you can carry into daily life.
No prior experience needed - just come as you are, ready to breathe, settle, and reset.
