Mahjongg is the Chinese, tile-based game that’s currently enjoying a huge resurgence in popularity in the United States. It’s a social game for family and friends to play together, full of skill, strategy, luck – and fun!
For anyone interested in learning mahjongg (or freshening up their skills), Laurie and Lyndsey, who have been teaching mahjongg for over a decade including at Sweetbay in 2023, are back! They are offering the 4-week course in June at the Sweetbay Studio from 7:00-9:00 pm on Wednesday evenings. The cost is $140 for the four sessions which includes personalized instruction and lots of practice playing time, along with mahjongg sets, cards and helpful resources to use during the classes.
