Winter Solstice Meditation
Dec 21, 2019 - Dec 21, 2019
The Winter Solstice signifies the longest night of the year and marks the beginning of a new solar cycle. The earth prepares to rest for the winter months. Nature demonstrates externally the work that we need to do internally. On the solstice, we are called to gather in quiet reflection. This can be one of the most beautiful and powerful times of the year for personal growth if we allow it. We honor the wisdom of our shadow and celebrate our inner light on the longest night of the year, recognizing and releasing old patterns and habits in preparation to plant seeds of fruitful self-growth.
Join us in sacred community as we illuminate the darkness and seek the harmony between shadow and light.
What you can expect:
-Self reflection and exploration thru movement and written expression
-Intention setting (for example, release old patterns, gain clarity about a decision in life, healing, deepen the understanding of who you are or just trying a new experience)
-Guided meditation with breath work
-Extended savasana with singing bowls that heal through sound vibration

300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Jan 10, 2020 - Jan 10, 2020

300 Hour Advanced Teacher Training

What better way to live a LIFE, INSPIRED than to empower your students to embrace all aspects of the 8-Limb Path, regardless of age, ability, or disability. This unique 300-hour Teacher Training has been approved under Yoga Alliance’s more stringent guidelines which call for all Registered Yoga Schools (RYS) to “foster quality and safety in yoga teaching with an awareness of and responsibility to increasing equity in yoga… which demonstrates Yoga Alliance members’ commitment to building a yoga community for all.”

In this spirit, Synergy’s LIFE, INSPIRED Teacher Training will empower you to meet your students where they are – regardless of ability, disability, age or illness. This unique and heart-based training will enable you to teach classes that are inclusive for all bodies, all abilities. Our 300-hour curriculum is designed to create depth of knowledge in teaching a flow style of yoga to populations who are looking to experience a mindful approach. It provides both the theory and hands on training required to enable you to create well balanced classes for those affected by chronic illness, disability, and/or for those requiring special attention like for athletic pursuits. Upon successful completion of this 300-hour curriculum, you will have developed the knowledge and skills required to teach students with specific needs in group settings, one-on-one sessions, and in workshop settings.

Come join us on the journey to live inspired, and empower yourself to embrace yoga as a lifestyle that is inclusive and accessible to all!

Are you ready to lead a LIFE, INSPIRED to teach classes with creative sequencing?

Deepen skills & understanding with the flow style of yoga that will appeal to yoga students who are looking to experience a mindful approach that supports their wellness. Learn to develop creative linear and Mandala sequencing formulas (circular pattern around the mat) with the aim of creating balance and symmetry in body, mind, and Spirit. – Balance and symmetry are important concepts for all populations, but they take on a deeper and more compelling meaning when teaching special populations (e.g., athletes, people recovering from strokes, chronic illness, injuries, etc.) Also, learn how and where to incorporate other aspects of the 8-Limb Path into a class experience to support students on and off that mat. Modifications will be discussed that support meeting the yoga student where they are. The trainee will leave with 2-3 sequencing formulas that will serve as the platform of the training.
