Kids Yoga - Lower School - Late Spring Term

Come and learn about how some of our yoga poses make you feel, which parts of our body have to work to do them & how we can rearrange ourselves to do the same pose in different ways.

Kids yoga is a great opportunity for children to express themselves physically, so besides the benefit of developing strength & flexibility it encourages them to think about all aspects of their well-being & can help them to manage stress and anxiety. We love to see the children growing in confidence every week & encourage them to be creative & use their own ideas in class.

In class there will be a mix of games, breathing exercises, yoga fun & relaxation. When we are under the Rocci Tree our imaginations can take us anywhere.

Tween Yoga - Late Spring Term

With a mixture of movement, breath work & mindfulness, we will encourage everyone to slow down & take some time to be quiet in this class. There will also be time for some games & fun too!

Yoga is a great way to introduce the concept of mindfulness & relaxation through simple breathing exercises & meditation; skills which are really important to be able to access in our current situation.

In our class we will be taking the opportunity to learn about some of the ancient myths and messages behind our yoga poses which will help the kids to see the whys as well as the hows.
