Unlock the power of back-bending and heart-opening postures in this 4-week series dedicated exclusively to spine-focused postures. Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to refine your practice, this progressive series will guide you through a wide variety of back-bending postures starting with basic foundational strengthening poses leading up to wheel pose and other variations.

Each week, we’ll build progressively toward more expansive backbends, incorporating key asanas that enhance spinal mobility, strengthen the back body, and create space in the chest and shoulders. You’ll also learn how to use the rope wall as a powerful tool to support, refine, and safely deepen your practice.

What You’ll Learn:
  • A step-by-step approach to approaching and deepening your backbends
  • Strengthening poses for a healthy spine
  • Techniques for safe and sustainable backbending
  • How to use the rope wall for support and expansion
  • How to use props such as blocks and chairs to refine and release deeper into your poses
  • Basic breathing techniques to go deeper into your practice
  • Basic therapeutic poses to help relieve back pain
