Did you know that your posture, how you walk and how you breathe influences and is influenced by the pelvis? The center of the body, the pelvis, is a site to revere and respect. It’s integral to so much of our everyday movement, on and off the mat. This central crossroads plays a key role in overall stability, freedom of movement and functional mobility. It’s the center of balance and creation; as such, it’s the hub of health.

From this workshop, you’ll:

  1. Develop an understanding of key physical components, energetic aspects and mental associations with the pelvis
  2. Understand the six directions of movement of the pelvis and how movement patterns affect alignment
  3. Learn how instability in the pelvis can influence up-chain and down-chain movement issues
  4. Learn about pelvic floor muscles and their role in everything from breathing to stability
