Shamanic Journey with Cacao & Hapé

Hapé or Rapé which is a legal sacred shamanic snuff medicine, which is pronounced ‘ha-peh’ in English. Also, it’s known to be casually referred to as ‘hape’, ‘hapi’ or ‘rapay” by some Western people. There are different types of hapé or blends. The blend that Karla works with is the Ayahuasca Rapé. This blend is made from the rest of ayahuasca that is attached to the bottom of the pan. It's called Tongoni, and the katukina and shawandawa tribe are used to transforming this part that is left from the cooking of the medicine, into a new blend. It's very energetic, you can feel the scent of the vine. Very appropriate for medicine wheels and ceremonies, gives us a feeling of liberation and purpose. This medicine is an ally to help you ground, bring messages, open your third eye, awareness, grounding, and so much more.

Yoga: A Journey of Discovery

This all-levels workshop will lead participants on a 3 week journey through various styles of yoga in a safe and supportive environment.

Each practice will be breath-centered and aid in cultivating a a sense of calm and ease through some combination of movement, sound and mediation.

Students will be invited to let go of expectations and preconceived ideas in order to explore these practices with openness and curiosity.

This will create an opportunity to be fully present and bring to light which yoga practices will best serve them on their own personal journeys self-discovery.

There are many different types of self-care including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Even small acts of self-care in your daily life can have a big impact on managing stress, preventing burnout, and maintaining positive mental health.

 

Self-care is not selfish or an indulgence. It’s not a one-time thing. It is important to remember that compassion begins with compassion for the self. Non-judgement starts with releasing judgement of the self.

 

As we come together in community and friendship, we learn that we are not alone.

Being in a Space of love, compassion, and non-judgement allows each of us To Be…our Authentic Selves, ask for what we need and call forth more Self-Love and Balance in our lives.
