Navigating Uncertainty
Tools for Stress in a Busy, Unpredictable World
90-Minute Community Workshop
Life feels uncertain at times and when it does, your body often
feels it first. Stress, worry, irritability, trouble sleeping, and
feeling “on edge” are all signs that your nervous system is doing
its best to protect you.
This 90-minute workshop offers a simple, practical, and
science-informed approach to understanding stress and learning how
to calm and support your nervous system.
You will be introduced to Neurosculpting, an accessible,
brain-based approach that helps you recognize stress patterns and
learn easy tools to bring your body back into balance. We will
explore what’s happening in your brain and nervous system during
times of uncertainty and why constant input from the news, social
media, and everyday demands can leave us feeling overwhelmed or
reactive.
You will learn easy, everyday practices you can use at home, at
work, or in stressful moments to help your nervous system settle,
reset, and become more resilient over time.
The workshop includes:
A clear, easy-to-understand explanation of stress and the nervous
system
Simple tools to calm your body and mind in real time
Practices that support long-term resilience
A guided meditation to help release built up stress and
anxiety
Insight into how social media and news consumption affect stress
levels
Resources you can continue using after the class
This workshop is for anyone who wants to feel more resilient,
steady, and capable in the face of life’s ups and downs and
especially during uncertain or stressful times.
No experience required. Bring a notebook and pen for taking notes
and anything that supports your comfort while sitting: yoga mat,
