Salsa is one of the most popular partner dances in the world, its simple moves and upbeat music make it easy for anyone to learn. In the beginner courses we will teach you the basic steps and techniques, as well as how to find the beat and dance with your partner smoothly and confidently. No experience and no partner required.

At beginner level, there are three courses available, all of which are for complete beginners. The courses cover the basic steps, and techniques, but each one covers different variations. If you want to feel completely comfortable with the basics before moving to a more advanced level, we advise completing all 3 beginner courses.

This course is for newcomers to Cuban salsa, whether you have previous salsa experience or not. You will learn the basic steps and moves that typify this classic salsa style and incorporate them into turn patterns in partner dance and Rueda.

This fun, original style of Salsa from Cuba incorporates basic, flowing steps danced in a circular motion. The steps are simple to begin with, incorporating more complex turns and arm movements as your style and confidence grows.

Class dates for this course are Wednesdays 6.30pm on September 3, 10, 17 & 24

Bachata is quickly becoming one of the most popular Latin dance styles, a perfect introduction to the world of partner dancing.

Explore the sultry rhythms and expressive movements of sensual/modern bachata in our dynamic dance class. Connect, move, and ignite your passion on the dance floor!

Our beginner course covers the basic steps and turns you need to know to move up to our improver level course and to take to the social dance floor with confidence. This course is for absolute beginners or anyone wanting to perfect and practise the basics.

Wednesday 17th September - 5th November. Please note you can ONLY join this course in week 1 or 2.

For anyone who want’s a chance to strut their stuff on stage, a share of the limelight, experience the journey of putting on a show and being part of a team, as well as ramping up their dancing prowess – performance courses are for you!

Join this course to perform on stage at the Viva Family Show in front of friends and famlily on Sunday November 9th. Performing is not compulsory but it is highly recommended!
