A Winter Solstice Sensory Immersion:
Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, and Sound Healing
Join us for a special experience of sound and silence as we honor the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year. Historically, this ancient time has been a profound spiritual moment of quiet reflection, marking the symbolic death and rebirth of the sun. It's a powerful opportunity to journey inward, find stillness, and embrace the return of light to the world.
This experience is crafted to be a deeply restorative journey. As you are led by Tommy M in a calming restorative yoga practice, you will also have the opportunity to receive reiki (hands-on or hands-off) from Heather H. You'll be bathed in the resonant (and reiki-filled) tones of gongs, crystal & metal singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments, provided by Jenn PageWise of A Unified Mind.
As the yoga, reiki, and sound work in tandem, they will help to gently clear away stagnant energy and quiet the noise of the outside world, creating a peaceful, open space within you. This will support a deeper spiritual connection, helping you to release what no longer serves you and to realign with your inner self.
Upon the closure of the Sound Healing, Tommy will guide you in a silent practice of deeply restorative yoga nidra.
You will leave feeling centered, restored, and filled with a sense of clarity and hope.
A Communal Yule Altar
We will set up a shared altar, a space for communal intention. You are invited to give a small, meaningful object that symbolizes Yule or its spiritual significance to you. This can be anything from a simple stone or a sprig of greenery to a written intention. As a beautiful act of shared energy, you may also take something back from the altar that resonates with you, allowing the exchange to signify the light we share with one another.

Explore pilates movements while learning about how to increase or decrease intensity so that you can build your perfect “at home” routine.
Most of the movements will be on the floor (hands/forearms & knees, seated, or lying down on the back, belly, or side).
