Ultimate Hip Opening Workshop
Jan 11, 2026 - Jan 11, 2026

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

During this ninety minute workshop, Roberta will guide you into the ultimate hip openers while exploring variations of traditional asana that engage the muscles of the feet and legs in a unique way. Using props and longer holds in standing poses, this class will have your muscles feeling like you worked out, while your mind feels restored and rejuvenated. With asana designed to target deep connective tissues to improve total body energy flow, we will systematically release muscle groups in the feet, ankles, knees, groins, and hips. The workshop closes with sophisticated pranayama that will prepare the mind for meditation. Each person comes to meditation in a very unique way, and we will take time to explore and practice several paths.

What to expect:

  • Standing asana with longer holds, assisted with props

  • Intentional breath to clear energetic blockages in the body

  • Optional meditation techniques to help you find your deepest focus

Roberta will offer variations for those who would like to be gentle on their knees. While you will feel restored afterwards, this is not a restorative class - there are standing poses that will utilize muscle engagement and endurance.
