Yogaananda offers a Starters / beginners (6weeks) course (Morning sessions) , 10 am
Yoga practiced regularly is a complete tonic for your mind, body, and overall wellbeing. A practice that can help you gain more self-confidence & self- awareness, so you can make better choices for you emotionally, mentally, and physically.
The course will cover:
Asana (postures) - You do not need to be flexible to do Yoga, but you will build strength and stability, once you learn how to do the postures safely for your body type
Breathing - simple breathing techniques that can increase your energy, calm your mind, and give you more clarity.
Meditation & Relaxation -We will guide you through some simple practices that will help calm your nervous system and remind your body how to relax, so you can move more easily between activity & rest.
Yogic Philosophy - Kindness, Contentment, Truth, Non- attachment, non-accumulating & more - guiding principles to find more steadiness & ease in your life. I will weave these into the teaching in a practical & realistic way.
Yoga is not about making physical shapes, it's not simply an exercise that you do & go home. Understanding Yoga will enable you to bring the practice into your life, so it can help support you where-ever you go and with whatever challenges you face, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

My name is Yogi Raaj & I have been practicing yoga last 35 years, and teaching Yoga from past 14 Years @ yoga Ananda. I am senior teacher at Yogaananda .
I teach, what I have experienced myself. I give clear instructions in a realistic, practical & down-to-earth way.

6-week Yoga course for Starters /beginners. This course will introduce you to the various elements of a yoga practice so that by the end of the course you will feel confident enough to attend any of our scheduled yoga classes.
Each week will allow some time for reflection on the previous week’s learnings and questions that may have arisen.
