Perceptions in Perspective: A Journey to Center
May 22, 2022 - Nov 27, 2022

Join student teachers Lizzie Lambrou and Mianna Morrison as they embark on an exploration of the self, in a group setting where all are both the teacher and the student. Diving deep into history and current sociology and psychology, let us look at how perception and perspective affect our thoughts, emotions, lives, bodies, and actions. We will then explore some possible ways to see through the veils and see perception and perspective as tools rather than rules. Some simple movement and yoga poses will be introduced for voluntary participation throughout the class, along with some philosophical readings and questions. There will also be a few minutes of personal time for processing, journaling, meditation, running a marathon in record time, or anything else you find you need or want. There is no requirement to bring anything, but you are welcome to bring blankets, bolsters, yoga mats, journals, writing utensils, and your comfiest sweater.
We look forward to seeing you!

Donation requested (bring to the event). 50% of donations will be donated to the Ohio Forrest Sanctuary
