As the season of Spring returns, the Wood element invites us to
expand, grow, and move
forward with clarity. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Wood
governs the Liver and
Gallbladder meridians, which relate to healthy planning,
decision-making, as well as having a
strong vision for where you're going in your life.
This Yin Yoga workshop is part of a series exploring the Five
Elements of TCM through the lens
of the meridian system. These workshops are part education, part
embodied practice. You'll
learn the location and function of the meridians, explore how
seasonal shifts affect the body and
mind, and use tools like guasha scraping to deepen awareness and
connection.
This workshop includes:
- 90-minute yin yoga practice focused on the Wood element
meridians
- Guided guasha scraping along the meridian pathways
- Introduction to Spring seasonal wisdom & liver/gallbladder
channels
- Take-home guasha tool with instructions for use
Come ready to reconnect to your inner compass.
