What is Somatic Breathwork?
“Soma” means “of the body” and explains the full experience of what it means to be human. We are more than our physical bodies; we have a spiritual aspect, a mental aspect, and an emotional aspect. Breathwork gives you the opportunity to tune into the innate intelligence that is moving through you, and dig up unconscious traumas, fear, and stress in order to clear it out. This method of breathwork helps you release unneeded energy in your body’s nervous system, “fight or flight”, which may have caused physical pain, unwanted thoughts and feelings, and old stories or behaviors. By allowing this unneeded energy to come up and move through you, you are able to clear it out and come back into a more regulated state “rest and digest”.
Somatic Breathwork uses a circular breath pattern with rhythmic music to produce a heightened state which will cause an emotional release in the body. Emotional releases include moving, shaking, yawning, yelling, crying, or laughing. Using the breath helps you get rid of your armor in order to release blockages or any old pains that are holding you back from who you are and how you want to show up in the world.
The class is 1 hour long with an additional 15 minutes at the end of class questions. It is done either 1:1 or in a group session. You lay on your yoga mat with a blanket and are guided through the breath pattern by Lisa Cerutti, the Somatic Breathwork Practitioner. The first half of the class is the clearing phase where you discharge and release any stuck energy; the second half of the class is repatterning where you have the opportunity to become mentally clear. This work is a rollercoaster ride of emotions and will help you open up to become more vulnerable with yourself and others. It will bring your body back into homeostasis, back to your center, back to the real you.
Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, an eye cover, and a journal for inspired writing afterward.
It is advised not to eat two hours prior.

Healing Sound Journey & Reiki

What to bring? Yoga Mat, comfy clothes, pillows, blankets.
Join us for a deeply restorative experience of sound and energy healing. Allow yourself to be immersed in the vibrations of gongs, shamanic drums, and chimes that effortlessly guide you into relaxation and meditation. These sacred sounds help clear energetic blockages and restore the free flow of vital energy throughout the body, often creating a profound sense of peace, connectedness, and expanded awareness.
As the gong induces a spontaneous meditative state, you may find access to deeper parts of the mind, resulting in heightened clarity and consciousness. During the sound journey, Reiki practitioners will also be sharing Reiki energy with participants, amplifying the overall healing experience and supporting balance, release, and rejuvenation.
Sound healing is known to re-balance, tone, and harmonize the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Gong baths are especially effective for easing stress, depression, fatigue, anger, fear, and loneliness, while cultivating a sense of harmony and wholeness.
