Nov 9, 2024 - Nov 9, 2024

The Pelvic floor an Integrated Approach with Anne-Marie and Aisha

Saturday November 9 2-4.30 pm £49

Join us for an enlightening workshop focused on pelvic health, led by Anne- Marie, our skilled Pilates instructor, trained by pelvic floor specialist physiotherapists, who have also been students of her Pilates classes, alongside Aisha Taylor, a dedicated Women’s Health Osteopath. Together, they will explore the vital connection between your pelvic floor and overall wellness.

While clinical Pilates classes are incredibly beneficial, they aren't sufficient on their own. We also need to cultivate awareness of our pelvic floor and adopt a more holistic approach to our well-being.

In this workshop,

Anne- Maire will be leading the strength section, with her expertise knowledge in Pilates and how we can apply it to the pelvic floor.

Aisha will delve into the tension model of pelvic health, discussing how an overly tight pelvic floor can contribute to various issues. You’ll learn about the crucial relationship between breath and the diaphragm, uncovering the importance of breath synergy in achieving optimal pelvic function.

She will also highlight lifestyle factors that play a significant role in maintaining pelvic health, empowering you to make informed choices in your daily life. To conclude, she will guide you through gentle somatic movements and stretches designed to release tension

Ann Marie a who is also an experienced yoga Nidra teacher, will be concluding this informative afternoon with a beautiful pelvic floor focused guided meditation to help us further in releasing tension and connecting with our pelvic floors.

Whether you're looking to enhance your physical well-being or simply learn more about your body, this workshop is an excellent opportunity to gain insights and practical tools for better pelvic health. Join us and take a step toward a more balanced, empowered you.
