I've been working with Marina Shevel a Functional Medicine Practitioner for a year now.  We initially started out focusing on nutrition with an elimination diet.  I was ready to make that committment to my own healing from trauma at a young age.  It effected my immune system and later diagnosed with ulcerative colitis.  Although I have gotten the colitis in remission, I still have issues with my GI tract.  What I'm consuming through diet and my healing practice is vital.  Marina has guided me every step of the way.  Really listening and paying attention to my unique needs.  She is always spot on with moving me forward in my healing process of finding my way out of the trauma that caused me much suffering phsically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  I am beginning to heal on so many different levels, and feel what it's like to feel that spark of happiness come alive inside me.  Thanks to my team of healhtcare providers.  Marina is one of those team members you will want to have on your team forever!!

She was extremely knowledgeable about the process, educated me before and after my appointment, and made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable.
