Great environment, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I finish each class feeling uplifted in mind, body, and spirit.
“Not all who wander, are lost.”
Like many others, Tasha’s yoga practice started in the midst of
pain and loss, brought on from years of unresolved trauma. With the
desire to begin her search of self, the concept of unionizing the
mind, body and spirit brought about a transformation she never knew
she needed. A transformation filled with compassion, acceptance and
self-love. - yoga became her therapy. A Philadelphia native, Tasha
began her yoga practice in 2015 which led her to complete her 200
hour teacher training at Anjali Power Yoga in New Jersey in 2017.
As a registered nurse, with 10 years experience in the healthcare
field, being of service and helping those in need are the
foundation to her human experience. Her belief that we carry our
stress, emotions and trauma within our bodies is the fuel that
helps lead her yoga classes. My teaching style is an interesting
collective of warm power yoga sequences based on the Baptiste
methodology coupled with restorative, relaxing flows to help ease
anxiety and combat stress. Be prepared to smile, laugh, sweat and
let loose as we allow our breaths to help move us through what ails
us. Aside from practicing and teaching, Tasha enjoys copious
amounts of homemade popcorn, spending time with those she loves,
dancing and humming off key to all kinds of music, hanging with her
dogs and everything about the beach.
