This workshop dives deeply into the cycles of a woman’s life.
Students will learn and explore the phases of menstruation,
archetypes, and seasons of being a woman. Modules will include
practices in traditional yoga, somatic movement, breath work,
voice, and writing. Students will come away with practices to
support various phases of their lives and skills to work through
transitions from daily rituals to ceremonies.

Do you often feel overwhelmed by the amount of things you need
to take care of on a daily basis? Find yourself overworked, unable
to reach your fitness goals, thrown off by big shifts in
your life, unsatisfied in your relationships, and out of
touch with your body’s cycles? It’s not your fault! We were never
taught this in school. Maybe we had a little information
in health class about our periods, maybe our mothers shared with us
the feminine transitions of pregnancy, birth, or menopause, but
no one explained to us that these shifts in our
lives and the daily shifts in our hormones could become a
wisdom we can live by.
Our hormones affect our moods, energy levels, libido,
productivity, creativity, communication skills, focus, weight, and
our nutritional needs. When we learn the strengths and weaknesses
of each phase of our cycles, we can find balance and
empowerment in our lives. We can, in fact, predict the
best times for hard conversations, big workouts, presentations,
networking, and rest. Using the practices of menstrual cycle
awareness, yoga, breathwork, and inner knowing practices we can
feel at home in our changes.
This workshop is a condenced version of a 5 day
intensive that will work from a macro level learning about the life
phases of womanhood from the beginning to end of our lives so you
can understand the wisdom in each age you have or will experience.
We will then move to a micro level learning about how to best
organize your days and months around the wisdom of
the menstrual cycle to optimize your relationships, work, and
enjoyment of life.
This information is potent for women in any phase of
life. Be prepared to sit with women in circles of intimacy and deep
sharing in a way you've never experienced before. No prior
experience is necessary.
