Growing up in southern California, Angela is no stranger to an active lifestyle. After seventeen years of competitive swimming, she was looking for new physical activites to engage her body and mind. Through friends, she started taking yoga classes in Los Angeles in 2008. Although, her love of yoga was not instant. After years of over working musles, she found growth and engagement studying under Gilbert Naungayan of Kaya Yoga Remedy. During her time at Kaya, her physical practice blossomed as did her interested in the power of the mind and a cleaner, more holistic life. In 2015, Angela left her corporate job and completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training with Kaya Yoga Remedy and began teaching yoga classes shortly after. Whether you are brand new to yoga or looking to expand on your knowledge base, Angela will guide you with an easy spirit and detailed verbal cues. When she is not spending time practicing or teaching, she enjoys her catering & cake business with her husband Wes, her home garden and her adopted cat Junior.
