Sara began practicing yoga at the age of twelve when she received The Sivananda Companion to Yoga as a gift. The book inspired an interest in yoga and self improvement. Her relationship to yoga continued sporadically into adulthood. In 2018 she committed to a regular practice and found the benefits of allowing time each week to connect the body, mind, and breath. Yoga helped her recover after hip surgery in 2019 and continues to be a tool to feel at home her body, and find presence in her life. She is passionate about making yoga accessible for everyone, and believes that everyone can benefit from incorporating movement, meditation, and breath into their life.
