Carrie has been a seeker and yogi since the 1990's when she first walked into Portland Power Yoga in Portland, Maine. At the time she was a busy mom, in the high-paced career of TV news.  She quickly developed a dedicated practice and fell in love with the heat and powerful flow of the classes - and the impact it had on her body and mind. Her career took her from Portland to Seattle, producing news in the 13th largest market in the country. But soon her love of yoga won out over the increasingly depressing and dismal content in the news business.  Since 2010, Carrie has attended numerous teacher trainings with the most influential yoga instructors in the world, including Shiva Rea, Eoin Finn, and Seane Corne. She is a 500 hour Experienced Senior Level instructor who will patiently challenge and uplift you. Carrie spent 6 years teaching yoga full time at the most respected and beloved yoga studios in the Seattle area. Today, Carrie spends her days as a Senior Content Produced for a corporate wellbeing company, and on special occasions leads yoga classes at Be One, her yoga home.
