My Yoga
Philosophy
At the heart of everything I do, the intention is help you discover
your truth. Yoga is a journey of the self, so you may awaken to
limitless possibility and live a life full of joy, integrity, and
vitality!
Every time we practice we cultivate the ability to be present
and aware of our physical and mental state, providing the
opportunity to release fear, worry, judgement, and anxiety. Through
a consistent yoga practice, we can create space to see ourselves
more clearly, with more loving- kindness, compassion and embrace
our true essence. We shine brighter, love more fully, cultivate
gratitude and appreciation, gain inspiration, pursue our passions,
and live with optimism!
My Yoga Style:
The truth is, my teaching style has become a fusion of various
disciplines, taken from my own experience, education, and intuitive
guidance. I strive to deliver a yoga practice in a unique,
meaningful, relevant, and effective way so you can honour your body
and empower yourself, both on and off the mat.
With continuing education in kundalini yoga, Traditional Chinese
medicine, Qigong, facial mobility therapy, Ayurveda, Reiki, primal
movements, pranayama, visualization, and meditation practices, we
are able to cultivate a deeper connection to your mind, your body,
and your spirit and bring you into a state harmony.
The yoga I offer is a powerful, yet playful, and is available for
everyone.
I strive to awaken energy flow by stimulating the major meridians,
chakra centres, and myofascial movement patterns through dynamic or
subtle movement. These movements build the strength,
stability and mobility, while promoting relaxation and release for
more presence and peace and calm.
Some of the more active yang-style classes are energizing, lively,
and free-spirited asana with creative sequencing, alignments, and
the activation and engagement of breath, bandha and drishti.
The restorative yin-style practices are more soul soothing and
meditative, focusing on gentle and softer movements. They provide
you with a safe, nourishing space to slow down and tune in to
promote acceptance, harmony, balance, and relaxation.
