Born and raised in Texas, Mallory Green Spielman is a certified E-RYT 200, Sound Bath Practitioner, Reiki Master, Aerial Yoga Instructor & Natal Chart Astrologist. At the tender age of 14, Mallory was diagnosed with lupus and a few years later with kidney disease. In 2013 after undergoing chemotherapy treatments to combat her illness, she was determined to stay in remission which led her to an eastern approach to heal. "To me yoga means freedom. A life free of disease and depression. Yoga gave me the tools to strengthen my mind and body. On my last infusion, I was determined to change my life and reclaim my health. I started looking into holistic healing and the rest was history. My research took me to crystals, chakras, and yoga. I started to understand trauma and how curing and healing aren't the same thing. A cure requires you to hand over your power while healing asks you to take back your power. That is exactly what I did, I took my power back. I began to change my attitude and mindset around this disease that had controlled me. I never thought I would have a "normal quality of life" and here I am living life to its fullest. I have always wanted to help people and I found my calling through yoga.” Mallory has been in remission for 10 years and is eager to help others find wellness and healing through yoga and mindfulness. You can feel the passion and big-love energy in every class she teaches. Her favorite styles of yoga to teach are Hot Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Crystal Sound Bowl Meditations. When not teaching, you can find Mallory hanging out with her husband and two beautiful boys, taking care of her plants and catching up on her favorite music and movies.
