Originally from Medellín Colombia, I have been living in Australia for 9 years now.
My journey started when I left Australia a few years ago to travel around the world for a year. I remember putting up an intention to the universe - I wanted to really find myself. As I was feeling lost and I didn’t know what my purpose was.
Well, in that trip I discovered yoga, but not just the stretching and the “exercise” part, I had done that before. I understood the importance of breath and the connection with the body and this simple concept affected all areas of my live for the good. I simply fell in love with the practice and became a very committed student until this day.
Yoga creates space, awareness and cultivates curiosity towards ourselves. It makes me feel whole and held and after I practice I end up with this extraordinary sensation of wellness. That is exactly why I became a teacher.
I aim to share this gift with the world and guide my students through their practice by encouraging to connect with their breath, focus on correct alignment but always with self-compassion, at their own pace and respecting the limits of each one’s body. I offer a range of asanas to make classes enjoyable and dynamic but also suitable for all levels.
My classes are spacious, dynamic and feature the importance of presence by connecting with our breath. There will be always space for a short meditation and pranayama, either at the end of the beginning of my class.
