Every teacher at Kali offers positive, supportive, transformative classes and works to build a community of folks that are committed to challenging themselves and helping others around them! Love Kali!
Jackie has been a practicing yogi for more than 15 years and has completed 200 hour trainings through both Kali Yuga Yoga (2019) and Kripalu (2004). Jackie’s love of movement started with dance and tumbling classes as a child and grew through her experiences as an athlete while growing up. After hanging up her cleats, Jackie dove back into the study of dance and soon found yoga as a way to build strength and flexibility while deepening her sense of self. After completing a 200 hour teacher training in the Kripalu yoga tradition in 2004, Jackie began incorporating yoga into her dance classes and choreography.
As a yoga teacher Jackie loves sharing her passion for movement with students. Her compassionate approach to teaching meets students of all ages and abilities where they are, offering them an opportunity to deepen their practices and grow their understanding of yoga. Her classes help students develop greater balance on and off the mate by incorporating strengthening, flexibility, and breath awareness.
Outside of the studio, Jackie loves being a mom to her vivacious daughter, gardening, cooking, and spending time outside. Her work experience includes time in the non-profit and food worlds as an educator, advocate, and manager.
