Very thankful I finally checked out Barefoot Yoga in Park Circle. The minute you walk in you are invited up the stairs into a comforting and warm space. I felt immediately at home. The classes are small and intimate, which is exactly what I look for in yoga classes in hopes of hands on corrections. I have tried out 3 different types of classes here and enjoyed each of them. If you’re looking for more intensive body work I strongly suggest doing a Thai body work session with Marie. She is highly intuitive and incredibly knowledgeable. I look forward to becoming a regular at Barefoot!

Growing up in a fitness studio from the age of 4 years and raised by a daily weight lifter, my life has always included physical fitness. My father instilled in me the need for daily exercise whether it was yoga, running, swimming, soccer, weight training, karate, skiing, kayaking, biking or walking the dog for miles; I have my father to thank for my love of exercise.
 
Yoga has helped me sustain my love of exercise, gain more flexibility, calm my inner spirit, and find peace in this hectic world we call home. I decided to open Barefoot Yoga Studio as a way, for people of all walks of life, to come together and build a community within Park Circle and its surrounding neighborhoods. We are a small space, so you can get to know the people across the mat from you :)
 
From all the teachers here at Barefoot Yoga Studio and myself, we welcome you to our space! The possibilities are limitless as long as you have an open mind and an open heart. Namaste!
