“Amazing” is a great way to describe the Restorative yoga class that I just attended!! I wish I could carry the feeling it left me with through the rest of my life. I definitely recommend it and will take the class every chance I get.

Karen Anderson has spent more than 25 years caring for children and adults I healthcare. She studied at the University of Delaware and graduated with a Bachelors in nursing. In more recent years she obtained her Master’s degrees at Walden University and is currently practicing as a Nurse Practitioner caring for the underserved population of Monmouth County. She has held many different leadership and educator roles as a nurse and enjoys providing people with direction and acting has a mentor.
Her passion for the well being of others and her interest in fitness and nutrition inspired her to become a personal trainer in 2008. She has worked with healthy clients looking to get into peak condition, people who strive for weight loss and those who are looking to improve the quality of their lives. To bring balance to her training she became a certified Yoga instructor through Brahma Yoga Spa under the guidance of Swami Shantimurti Saraswati and the Bihar school of Yoga.
Additional education includes certification as a Meditation Specialist under the guidance of Dr. Susan Taylor and the National Meditation Specialist Board. Her classes are designed for all levels and help to guide one through a spiritual, mindful, grounding journey along with safely aligned asana.
