Ahimsa and their lovely teachers is a real gem in the city! It is a warm, inviting space that is open and accepting to all levels of ability, whether you’re a beginner trying yoga out, or a well practiced yogi. It has a special place in my heart :)
Justin has been curious about yoga since 2003 after discovering
the practice during his undergraduate years at the University of
Toronto. It wasn’t until his own personal experience with cancer in
2007, however, did his relationship to the practice evolve into a
profound and passionate commitment. This life experience led Justin
to Nashik, India where he truly began studying and integrating
yogic teachings at Yoga Vidya Gurukal. Seeing and continuing to
experience the transformative healing qualities of the practice,
Justin dedicates his life now to helping others on their own
mindfulness journey. He is honoured to hold space for people to
slow down and rest, to expand and reflect and to discover the
potential miraculous daily health benefits of integrating yoga and
meditation.
Justin teaches a variety of daily classes in Toronto. He also
facilitates workshops, international retreats, restorative teacher
training programs and hot stone yoga therapy. He currently studies
with Annie Carpenter and Judith Hanson Lasater and assists the
beloved Seane Corn.
