I just finished the Beginner's 6 week workshop and really enjoyed it :) I highly recommend it to those who are interested but don't know where to start. I had taken some yoga classes before this, but had never learnt the proper form. It was nice to have the poses broken down so I can be more aware of how to do them properly. Thanks Michelle for the great class, I'm looking forward to taking more!

My yoga journey began back in the late 90s when I discovered Ashtanga at The Yoga Sanctuary in Toronto. But, as it does, life got in the way and my regular practice slowly fell away. But I chose to re-dedicate myself to a practice, after years of athletics and the injuries that went along with them. It was while working with my own physical and emotional healing that I also decided to begin my trip towards teaching. I’m immensely grateful for my registered 200-hour training program, because it was there that I discovered more about my path, my ever evolving practice, and myself.

I’m deeply devoted to living a life that we can call our own. Enjoying fully the things our planet, and the lives we share it with, have to offer. So when I’m not teaching yoga, you can find me mommy-ing, snowboarding, roller skating, throwing axes, enjoying the many fine craft beers our Province has to offer, or testing out experimental recipes in one of the happiest places I know, my kitchen.

Schooled in several healing modalities including Therapeutic Yoga for Pain Management, Thai Massage, Nutrition, Reflexology & Aromatherapy, I have come to know there is no ONE solution when it comes to physical and emotional healing. I therefore love to develop engaging group classes and workshops that draw on some of these concepts, and seek to craft highly individualized programs for each of my private clients.
