Adrian teaches the unique style of yoga, Kundalini, which incorporates Kriyas (a set of exercises to bring about specific outcomes), Asanas (Postures), Mudras (hand gestures), Bandhas (body locks), Mantras (repeating sacred sound vibrations), Pranayama (breath control) and Meditation.
Being aware that this style of yoga will be new to most people, Adrian will gently take you on the journey from the beginning.
Kundalini yoga helps to clear blockages in our nadis (energy channels) so energy can flow freely, resulting in higher states of consciousness, increased self empowerment and a healthier body.
As well as Kundalini Yoga, Adrian is also an avid Hatha Yogi, with his journey in yoga starting at the age of 21.
As part of his yogic journey of self discovery, Adrian spent 5 years living in Bhakti Yoga Ashrams, engaging in devotional service, both in the UK and India. During that time he undertook deep study of sacred Yogic texts such as the renowned philosophical treatise the Bhagavad Gita and also the Bhagavata Purana. This was under the skillful guidance of numerous swamis and gurus, but especially the preeminent guru HH Sivarama Swami, who he eventually took diksa, formal initiation from, and continues to have a strong connection with.
Adrian has recently returned to Jersey after his 20 year spiritual adventure and is keen to share some of the jewels he gathered along the way.
