I started taking Pilates (mat and equipment) to strengthen my core after hurting my lower back. I've been doing one class of each a week for four months and I really feel the difference in how strong I feel. The instructors provide very detailed instructions on how to move each part of the body in a step by step process that anyone can follow. The lessons I learn in these classes I take with me to everything I do at home, whether sitting or working out, to ensure I am sitting, stretching, running or working on my abs properly. I firmly believe these classes are keeping me from reinjuring myself, while also helping to tone my muscles the way I want them to.

I love taking Pilates classes at Core Movement! The class sizes are small enough that everyone receives individual guidance and the variety of exercises for the body, focusing on strengthening the core muscles, is great! The teachers are fantastic- well trained, enthusiastic, and responsive to the needs of each student.
