I dropped in to the restorative class taught by Beth. Enjoyed the friendly, relaxed, fun, lighthearted & encouraging atmosphere she created. I learned new poses and loved her focus on the breath ~ bringing us back to the breath and teaching a technique to stay with it. She has a very clear communication style and great cues. The studio is perfectly clean and is an overall well kept, beautiful facility. The only improvement would be to extend the restorative class to 75 minutes instead of 60 minutes. Much love to you all at YogaQUEST!
Laura has been practicing Yoga since 2007, when she was going
through a series of changes in her life and wanted to create a
better, healthier life for herself. She took classes at her local
Colorado rec center then tried the hot 90 class in a studio near
her home a few months later and she was hooked.
She completed RYS200 teacher training at that same studio in 2012.
She taught private posture lessons and created body-specific yoga
series for students with physical ailments.
Laura moved to Tulsa in 2015 and has been a student at Yoga
Quest ever since. As soon as she had the opportunity to fit
teaching into her life again she jumped on the opportunity. She
loves the ability of yoga to combine physical health, meditation,
strength, and stretching into the same hour. She also appreciates
Yoga is for everyone, in some way, at any stage of life, and the
ability of the Hot 90 postures to be modified for any physical
body.
When she isn’t at the studio Laura can be found in her garden or
teaching others the joy of vegetable gardening. She loves her two
little boys, husband, and various pets and spends all the time with
them she can.
