team member since August 2015 My Why:The journey of working with dogs for me has been joyous, meaningful and challenging. Joyous because dog's love unconditionally and teach us to live in the moment.  Meaningful because being able to witness the progress a dog makes with their guardian towards a life of freedom, safety and fun is the reason I started working with dogs to begin with.  And challenging because when it comes to understanding dogs and what they need one never stops learning.   Each dog brings with them their own unique personality and history and the challenge is to remain open and creative to ultimately find what works best for them. It's fantastic to be part of a company that strives to offer exceptional education and innovative training because it is my passion to continue to learn as much as I can about these awesome beings that we call dogs.   My Advice:When training dogs I have found that the attitude you bring is really more important than any method or technique used. Staying calm, convincing and consistent with a dog's training means your communication with them is clear and concise and with patience and time they will understand what your are asking of them.  This builds a bond of love and respect just as much as snuggles and play, so work hard AND have fun, your dog will love you for it!
