team member since June 2017 My Why: If I could take in all the unwanted dogs myself I would, but no one can do it all themselves. Knowledge is a powerful tool, and the more people who are educated on canine behaviour, the less behaviour problems there will be, and therefore less dogs would be unwanted. I can’t personally rescue all the dogs myself, but I can keep learning everything I can about dog behaviour and training techniques so that I can help other people gain the knowledge and skills to love and rescue dogs too. My Advice: Learn the why, not just the how. It’s important to learn our dogs language so that we can understand them and they can understand us.  They will never learn how to speak English, but we can learn how to understand and communicate in their body language.
