Clever Canines

team member since September 2016 My Why:I was first introduced to clevercanines in the Spring of 2016 when I took jumpstart as a client. My dogs were polar opposites in their personalities and needs, and I was at my wits end trying to figure out how to help them on my own. Those four classes changed my life. I never thought that 6 hours of instruction would make such an impact, but boy did it ever! The concepts and foundational skills I learned in that program opened me up to possibilities I never thought possible with my dogs! The freedom I experienced from the improvement in my relationships and trust with my dogs got me hooked on clevercanines. I applied at the first opportunity! Working with clients allows me the chance to make a difference in their lives, and give them hope that they can one day have their ideal relationship with their dogs. My Advice:You may hear me joking around that “I don’t train dogs, I train people” but it is so true. My purpose is to give you – the owners, the skills and confidence to influence your dog, so that you can leave my class and be able to apply the knowledge and skills for the rest of your dogs life. When clients “get” this mindset that they are my student not their dogs, the opportunities for freedom with their dog are endless.
